D3 Region 10

Division realignment will have a lot to do with this region.
I could see West Holmes dropping down to D4 and Benedictine dropping down from D2 to take their place.

this region is very weak, probably the weakest in d3, unless benedictine and tcc somehow move back into d3, then it will have some very tough teams

It won't be a couple teams who challenged a couple/few years back in Norwalk and Sandusky.

Mansfield and Tiffin can challenge, but I don't know enough to be totally confident in either/or

The demarcation between Regions 9 & 10 seem to ebb and flow with Cuyahoga County bouncing back and forth between the two. Who knows how they set it up moving forward but it always seems the OHSAA tries to balance things out more competitively than geographically.

It does see like WH will move to a lower division. They are way below the threshold for division 3. Will be interesting to see the shakeups coming this year

1 for 2 on these
West Holmes indeed drops,
But Benedictine goes into 9

Arguably the easiest Region pound for pound in the state. Whos is now the chalk? Padua?

Top teams in no order (Probably wrong)

Mansfield,Clyde,Holy Name,Sandusky,Columbian,Padua,Rocky River, Buckeye,Lutheran West?

Lutheran West is a strange one to see here. They play a division 5/6 schedule and have several promising Sophomore “recruits”. Their CB number was 93…

Mansfields Defense would probably give Chardons Offense some fits.

Clyde always has a solid program and can play with anyone at the D3 level.

I'm going to slightly disagree about Clyde. I believe that held true moreso 2005 and before, and even so, after great runs in 94-95, it was dicy. I'm not even sure this was even true last two years in IV/Region 14.

But, despite my mumbo jumbo, Fliers certainly capable winning 10

Not bad, actually, except Sandusky is likely a 2 win team this year.

Clyde has had some very good teams in the last 10-12 years.

Clyde just won a State Title in 2019 I believe. They have had some very good teams over the last 15 years. They beat Toledo Central Catholic one year in the playoffs.

Clyde has had solid teams and solid Playoff History. Your comment about them playing with anyone isn't entirely accurate. Yes, they beat Central one year, then proceeded to lose by 50ish to Trotwood. Next 3 meetings with Central weren't close. Last 2 years in IV, pretty much beatdown to solid Shelby and Van Wert squads

I agree that Clyde is certainly a contender for this region and D3 in general. Their league prepares them very well for the playoffs. When they won it all in 2019, they barely even made playoffs as an 8-seed at 6-4 and then they ran the table. In 2020, they also beat a couple teams that were seeded higher than them. Just a dangerous team that I don't know that anyone is excited to draw in the playoffs.

You think Copley will be better than Norton? Hopefully Lutheran West and Rocky River collide on a neutral field.

Norwalk and Sandusky may win 3 games this year. I emphasize "may"
I thought the Norwalk coach could win every year?

Also, don't count sandusky out. Their schedule is much tougher than this region and they could slide in with 3-4 of the right wins.
