20-21 Federal League Basketball

Where is Phil Hubbard?

14th with 946 points.
Hubbard did not play varsity ball his Sophomore year.

There are factors with all-time (H.S. career points)
~ seasons played.
~ regular season max game limits (18 games until 1979 / 20 games 1980~2012 /22 games 2013=> )
~ how good was the rest of the team; resulting in deeper tournament run(s)
~ injuries
(also there was a time when Frosh, by rule, were not eligible to play varsity ball)

I.E. Grant would be higher on the list but a broken forearm shortened his Sophomore
season; how much better would his Junior year team would have been with more
court time.

Bulldogs won the first meeting vs Perry 52-44. Perry's last win over Green was back in 2016, but they did take the Bulldogs to overtime in a classic game in 2018. The battles between Green and Perry are usually low-scoring defensive affairs. The Panthers will have the best player on the court tonight in Toles, and could certainly outscore a Green team that has lost 7 of their last 9 games. However, Green is going to be motivated after their loss to archrival Lake on Tuesday, and a win tonight may be just what the Dawgs need to turn their season around. Should be exciting.
