Handicapping the state tournament

What is each team's record against the other three schools remaining?

Cleveland area hockey records are at shutout.com.

Ignatius has a tie with LC and was 2-0-1 vs Sylvania Northview.

LC has only the tie with Ignatius.

Northview has the three games with Ignatius (0-2-1) and one loss to St. Charles.

St. Charles has the win over Northview. St. Charles also has 2 wins over Gilmour, a win over Holy Name and a tie with Walsh, so times are changing. Central Ohio hockey has improved.

Woould be surprising to see the Columbus school advance, so have to go with Northview in that one. Ignatius should be the pick in other semi.

You're entitled to your opinion, but St. Charles has already beaten Northview this season.

Northview on to the State Final for the third straight year and fourth in five years. Chance to become a dynasty tomorrow.

Dominating is not even the word. It was a blood bath.

Congratulations to the Wildcats and best of luck tomorrow afternoon!

Ignatius announcers reporting Ignatius 73-24 shot advantage for Ignatius and virtually no offense from Northview in OT. A phenomenal performance by SN goalie.

Going to OT # 7.

If the tie was truly for the health of the players, then that's fine. However the circumstances seem very fishy. One team comes out on the ice, ready to play. The other team sits in the locker room. If both coaches and ADs had agreed to the tie, why was the reaction of the Ignatius team so demonstrative? Didn't they know? If we presume that both teams knew ( since one sat in the locker room), why did the other come on the ice, ready to play? Shouldn't they have been in the locker room also, with the PA announcer informing the crowd of the mutual decision by both teams?
Something doesn't add up.

Because one team went onto the ice before they learned of the discussion the state wanted to have with the two teams.
