I think I heard UD has a Thursday function on the calendar.
Lol....Dayton has hosted the NCAA first 4 on Thursday forever It was scheduled for Thursday this year long before they decided to move the state tourney there.

No First Four in Dayton this year. All NCAA games are in Indiana, First Four is at Purdue and IU on Thursday.

The 1st Four is at Dayton on Tuesday and Wednesday this year. It has never been on Thursday because the Tournament starts on Friday.

First Four is not in Dayton this year. Entire tourney is in state of Indiana.

Weird schedule for NCAA games this year. First two rounds run Friday-Monday. Sweet Sixteen on Sat/Sun. Elite 8 on Mon/Tue.
Here's the schedule:
- Selection Sunday — 6 p.m. ET March 14 on CBS
- First Four — 4 p.m. start on Thursday, March 18
- First round — 12 p.m. start on Friday, March 19, and Saturday, March 20
- Second round — 12 p.m. start on Sunday, March 21, and Monday, March 22
- Sweet 16 — 2 p.m. start on Saturday, March 27, and 1 p.m. start on Sunday, March 28
- Elite Eight — 7 p.m. start on Monday, March 29, and 6 p.m. start on Tuesday, March 30
- Final Four — 5 p.m. start on Saturday, April 3
- NCAA championship game — 9 p.m. Monday, April 5

I stand corrected. Looks like it wasn't decided in time for them to give the OHSAA the Thursday date when they first started the process ofr movingt it to Dayton.
