Yup, mine say same thing…Anyone else's tickets have different start times? The only session that matches the listed schedule on the OHSAA website which has also been posted above is session 5. The remaining times for the other sessions do not match up what is listed on the ticket vs what is listed on the OHSAA website. My tickets say session 1 starts at 3pm, session 2 starts at 10am, session 3 starts at 6:30pm and session 4 starting at 10am. There will be a lot of unhappy folks if they are going by the times listed on their tickets and show up extremely late for sessions 1 and 3 especially.
Yes...the OHSAA shows 1 pm Friday start and my ticket says 3PM. which is it?Anyone else's tickets have different start times? Unless they changed it because they think the girls will go quick. Before the season started it was 1pm but you know how the OHSAA is….OHSAA really screwed up on the tickets. I would have to think there are going to be some upset people arriving for a 3:00 start time on Friday
The official's contracts are for 1 pm. Last night we were discussing how many people are likely to be arriving for a 3 pm start.OHSAA really screwed up on the tickets. I would have to think there are going to be some upset people arriving for a 3:00 start time on Friday
They’ve changed the times on the digital tickets to match the schedule…That's my point, there will be plenty of people who go off of their ticket for the start times. Saturday and Sunday morning, only 30 minute difference not likely to be a huge impact, but definitely will be a large impact for folks who show up at 3pm Friday and miss all of D3 and D2. Same goes for Saturday night when you show up based on your ticket start time of 6:30pm and miss basically all Semi Final matches...
Genuine question, not trying to start anything. Why would you not want to watch the girls?Best thing is all the boys done before the girls start so u don’t have to watch if u don’t want. I figured they would be forst before all the boys.
Because 90% of the matches will end in a 1st period fall.Genuine question, not trying to start anything. Why would you not want to watch the girls?
Disagree. That wasn't remotely the case at the Marysville Regional this past weekend and it hasn't been the case for the vast majority of the events I've been to this year. The depth is developing very quickly and the quality of wrestling is on the rise. Of course a brand new sport can't have the depth that the boys side does yet, but it's competitive wrestling. Hopefully everyone stays and watches the girls compete. Supporting them will only help to grow the sport.Because 90% of the matches will end in a 1st period fall.
Crunched some numbers from the marysville regional… just looking at the championship brackets 149 out of 174 matches ended in either fall or tech fall. I would hardly call that competitive.Disagree. By comparison I pulled up a random boys district and 82 of 112 matches ended in the first round the same way. Just wait and see how competitive these girls can be as the rounds go on. I don’t get the negativity. As another poster pointed out, boys stats can be cherry picked too.Crunched some numbers from the marysville regional… just looking at the championship brackets 149 out of 174 matches ended in either fall or tech fall. I would hardly call that competitive.

I’ll be too busy at the varsity club to notice, meet me there around 5pm Friday?By comparison I pulled up a random boys district and 82 of 112 matches ended in the first round the same way. Just wait and see how competitive these girls can be as the rounds go on. SMH
