Does the small accommodations include the 6 million dollar indoor practice facility that coach Dial wanted?
Tuslaw will have plenty of room to build the indoor practice facility on the hollowed grounds of Beech Grove Elementary. It's kind of funny that Tuslaw got turf because we could have had turf fully paid for a couple of years ago, Coach Dial didn't want it.
Dalton's recent football history as told through prima donna quotes in People magazine articles:

I'm so excited, this relationship is just so stimulating takes me where I deserve to be (early Dial years)
I've never been so happy. Truly found the love of my life (last 3 years of Dial)
I need to rediscover me. I'm eliminating the toxic relationships that keep me from being the version of me I deserve to be (Dial departure)
I need to have fun. My spirit deserves what it needs not what others think it needs. (Leek hire)

LMAO this is hilarious. Don't have any idea what you're talking about - or who told you that but you'll be hard pressed to find anyone on here that would believe this. How many teams have indoor practice facilities? I can think of 1, maybe 2. And neither are D6/7 football teams.

Small accommodations had nothing to do with spending 1 cent of money....

Also false. Dalton got quotes on Turf prior to last season. It's likely on the horizon and coach Dial was 100% on board

Today we will use our patented #PACtion™ Wake-Field-O-Meter to grade the overall quality of the following posts:

FACTUALNESS: Can we prove anything said in these two posts? No. However, in true Yappi tradition, Bulldogs1275 is not following the noted philosophers Hegel, Kierkegaard, or Descartes but instead the philosophical ramblings of @Stizostedion. On a Wake-Field-O-Meter scale of 0-5 with 5 being the epitome of Wakefield tuffness, I rate these posts a 2.3.

READING THE ROOM: Bulldogs1275 came crashing into the #PACtion™ party with no intention of winning friends or minds. These posts are like getting your face lit on fire by a Turkish barber. On a Wake-Field-O-Meter scale of 0-5 with 5 being the epitome of Wakefield tuffness, I rate these posts a 7. This is extreme tuffness.

TUFFNESS: Bulldogs1275 wanted to establish himself as a heel on #PACtion™ and accomplished his goal. Idi Amin would cower in the mere presence of Bulldogs1275 due to his exceptional tuffness. On a Wake-Field-O-Meter scale of 0-5 with 5 being the epitome of Wakefield tuffness, I rate these posts an 8.

The resume of the new Fairless AD is impressive. He's younger and out of the mean streets of beautiful Jackson Township. So was Nate Held.

We'll see.

The Silent Flock needs to stay in #PACtion™. AJ Sarbaugh has done a fine job there but he'll have ups and downs.

Fairless has a strong group of fans and they need to represent here. Maybe #PACtion™ needs a promotional table at Brewster IGA.
Maybe he's trying to become the 2nd coming of Bill Dessecker, another Jackson Twp lifer who played with my pops under Robert Fife. How's that for some nostalgia on a Friday morning. Not to speak ill will of the deceased, (RIP 2014), but that AD was another piece of work, thinking groundskeeper willie probably benchmarked a lot of his tactics from him.

I've heard some stories. The nickname was "Bottom Dollar."

Yeah, I don’t see Coventry being favored to win week 1 by most, but I guess we’ll see. Manchester did blow a few games last year so that 1-9 could have been a 3-7 record for example if they could have executed better. Offensively I think there strength will be in the run game, unless there have been improvements in the QB room. Sophomore Matt Prebynski and junior Lamar Taylor will be the workhorses in the backfield, and both showed potential last year as they nearly started every game.

Win or lose I hope to see noticeable improvements from Coventry on August 23rd. Less penalties, better special teams play, etc. There’s really no excuse for them to be as bad as they were last year. They are returning nearly everyone, so I think they’ll be in the 2-4 win range. Just don’t want them to go 0-10 or 1-9 again like last year.
Agree. Lamar Taylor will be gone before we enter the PAC. Matt Prebynski may still be around. Both have great potential for the running game.

Will that turf come with soccer lines or will any semblance of a soccer program be relegated to the current football practice field at the north end of the ES/MS/HS property?

D-town is woefully behind the times with not having a futbol program (not even youth soccer...and no, Wayne East/Central Christian's feeder program doesn't count).

Have heard that there's support for soccer in Dalton but fall coaches are gatekeeping this from moving forward.

I don't know - I can only tell you based on feeling, and while I have been meandering about the Dalton facilities the last several years, I've never gotten an overwhelming sense that anyone was clamoring for or really cared that there wasn't a soccer team...

I'm not an El futbol guy, but I don't hate any sport and fully sport kids getting involved in something, don't care what it is, but like with anything money talks. I don't have facts necessarily to back this up, but I've been told that schools that have soccer programs host close to double the amount of home football games which has to = ticket sales concessions etc. Of course, I get the old heads trying to stop it worrying about losing football kids to soccer etc, but I feel the minivan moms of Kenyon Creek all over the country along with documentaries on CTE have taken care of and will continue to take care of reducing football numbers. Not saying I don't believe those things or that we should go back to leather helmets and allow clothesline tackles, point being, the people that think not bringing another sport in will save or keep other sports numbers up missed the boat because that has already happened for those and many other reasons.

PS. plenty of concussions on the soccer field :)

Soccer doesn't bring much gate, probably wouldn't even be enough to offset the costs of travel and staffing. Then there's the cost of field maintenance (until there is turf) - there is a reason that most years, the Dalton grass is still in pretty decent shape at seasons end....it's because there's no soccer.

Last several years I've been renewing tags online and this year tried it out for my actual DL, was fantastic, no trips to the BMV for me! Only thing I wonder is how often they will let you renew actual license online. My guess is maybe every 8 years to account for wrinkles, gray hair intrusion, hair reduction, weight fluctuation, or E all of the above.
It stops at 65 my good man....including if you are lucky enough to get the 8 year renewal...such a wonderful system...a $20 to $25 an hour employee gets to tell the old person they didn't pass the eye test so they can't renew their license....have seen them give chance after chance to pass....the employee doesn't want the one to be yelled at.

I heard one of the stumbling blocks with Broc Dial is that he wanted to build a BBQ pit complete with a smoker at the Dalton facilities and the admin wouldn't allow it due to a difference in culinary taste. The admin wanted Texas style beef brisket while Dial was going for Carolina whole hog BBQ.

Raylan, just being me, I would add Sirpilla RV Aquinas instead of Mogadore for the small school division and then block Mogadore contacts off my phone.

I'm good with West Holmes. We'd be able to say Nashville is a part of #PACtion.
What is the chance that the Canton Catholics rule money over being idiots and combine Central and Sirpilla

Fair enough, like I said, I'm not a soccer guy and don't have any facts to base my speculations on, only what I hear. I agree with that on the field condition for sure, same reason why some schools don't allow their youth programs on the H.S. fields and only let Jr. High play their games there. that was always a battel at Tuslaw. The artist fna El Julio, tried to make a change early in his tenure and let the youth play games on the field, but the soccer moms got pissed and said if they can play why can't we, so it got shot down. Eventually that did change, and I believe youth was playing several games at the last grass field in Stark County last year for sure, possibly for two years. Turf obviously is a different story
