Comparison of the numbers from 2021 to 2024

There is a 52% increase in the number of JH girls competing at OAC State this year compared to last year.

Some of the weight classes are over double the size in comparison to 2023.

13 weight classes increased in size
2 weight stayed the same (72 & 104)
1 weight class got smaller (190)

Overall a 347% increase in numbers from 2021 to 2024

I wasn’t knocking the OAC, at all. However the birthplace of all the OHSAA dreams came from the Ohway Girls tournaments. From tiffin to Marion a lot of our greats started it there.

OHWAY may be the original, they give awesome awards, and love the opportunities they provide K-12 in a one day tournament but there's a big difference in the number of girls between the 2 tournaments this year. OAC has over 2.5x the number of girls that OHWAY has in the JH division.
