Barberton beat Nordonia in championship
Lake and Green Third and Fourth

Norton beat Carrollton lost to Perry (which lost to Green)
then beat Alliance, East and Warren Harding to win Silver bracket

Heard today that Green beat Lake for 3rd place and their starters barely played at all. Rector looks to have a good season with Barberton winning the tournament that had 32 teams competing. Its early but that is a good sign.

Sounds like a good shootout. Some good competition. Lots of teams that competed in their respective districts. Good to see my Bulldogs have a little success but we all know championships are not won in June. Must say that Coach Fuline seems to be on his way to some success down there with some solid recruits coming in and I wish him the best.

Carrollton lost to Norton, then won out against United Local, Kenmore, Boardman, and another team to win their bracket and fifth place.

Norton Beat up Barberton last night in Summer Barberton basketball league. Barberton needs a center.

I saw Norton and they definately have some bigs inside.

Nordonia was by the far the most talented team I saw on Saturday. They pressed the entire day and seemed to run out of gas against Barberton. Josh Williams was able to weave his way through the defense and create scoring opportunities for his teammates in the final.

Green also looked pretty good.

I was told that Green was leading most of the game and Nordonia pulled it out in the end.
