While Elder got the best of us in football last night, the Lancers got them back today with a relatively easy victory in the cross country regionals at Troy. The Lancers won 56-79, also beating Mason and St X who had 87 and 91 points respectively. We were led by Senior Ethan Bokeno who finshed second overall, followed by Travis Hawes at 8th (places reflect scoring, not overall results), Alex Thiery at 10th, Kevin Kluesener at 17th and Drew Michel at 19th. Also finishing were Matt Nie(40th) and Matt Schroeck(47th).
The Lancers now go to the state meet as co-favorites with Medina. Good luck to the Lancers saturday, as they travel to Scioto Downs Columbus and hope to bring home a state championship during the day followed by a football playoff victory that night.
