Thanks so much for the article, and congratulations indeed to one of the true gentlemen in the sport. As for remembering names... My son and I used to occasionally run into Doc during his team's Sunday "flush runs" down at Rocky River Reservation. To this day, Coach Gallagher will still stop to ask how my son is doing, even though he graduated a decade ago and ran for a different high school. An outstanding career, and an outstanding coach.
