The Bluejays (10-3,2-0 Big East) blew the big lead but was able to regather itself and post a nice win over Marquette (8-6, 0-3 Conf). Neither team was able to hit 39% of their shots from the floor as the rim remained close most of the way. Ryan Kalkbrenner (St. Louis, MO) had a double, double (20 points,12 boards) to lead the winners. Ryan Hawkins (Atlantic, IA) added his own double, double (18 points, 12 boards) to aid in the cause. For the Golden Eagles, Oso Ighodaro (Chandler, AZ) played 33 minutes off of the bench scoring 22 points.
