On January 13, 2020, Coventry hired Michael Zografos as its new football coach. He comes with experience from Medina, Brunswick, and Rittman high schools from 2011-2019. He last served as co-offensive coordinator at Rittman in 2019. He also had the same title at Medina for four years previous. He will serve as an intervention specialist at the high school for the LEAP program.
