Claymont D-2 District Rankings (Off-Season #2)

I’ve started moving wrestlers around based off of where they wrestled in the off-season, Boro’s rankings, and some pure guesswork. Please let me know any changes that I should make on weights, teams, or divisions, if you have any inside information.

I love doing these rankings, but as it has been pointed out before, they are just for fun. To any wrestlers who read these and feel that they are ranked too low, you may be right.
I am bound to be wrong on many of the rankings, but fortunately they have absolutely no impact on how anyone will finish at any tournament this season or any other year.

A special thanks to Boro Fan for all the insight into the weights of the wrestlers, Baum’s Page, the OVAC website, Inside the Circle, and Jake’s Wrestling for all of the results that they provide, and to any of the other wrestling nerds that actually read these things.

Just curious how you know what teams will be sent there from the "old Southeast" site. Is it posted somewhere that the whole sectional will be moved there? Any chance any other teams will be moved there as well?

The state said that from now on they will be keeping districts together and not splitting into separated districts unless it is needed. The entire Southeast will be attending the East for sure from now on.

Also the Central District will be attending the SW from now.

Just curious, did Tri-Valley drop to divison 2? You also had them in your D1 rankings.

Yes. Tri-Valley dropped.
I put the D-1 rankings out before the new divisions came out, and then I switched up the wrestlers and teams before the D-2 rankings.

It's crazy that Claymont went from so many years of domination in the eastern district to a team that hardly has any individuals ranked and not even mentioned in the team race.

Is there anything coming up that will get them back on the map? I know their freshman 220 is a stud, but it appears they don't have any depth. Also, is their stretch of having at least 1 state qualifier per season in jeopardy this year?

What district are Granville, Hartley, DeSales, Licking Valley and London going to be in this year?
