The Norwood Indians 10-1 (4-0) keep proving that actions speak louder than words and win their 8th in a row by beating the high powered offense GCL North Champion Bishop Fenwick Falcons 8-3 (6-1) by a score of 21-14. Fenwick Falcons came into the game very convident. Falcon's opened up seven-play, 67-yard drive with a 6 yard TD run which took only 3 minutes from the start of the game but wouldn't see the end zone again until there was 3 minutes left to go in the 4th Q. By the end of the 1st quarter and halftime the score was tied 7-7. Norwood's QB Andrew Conover threw for 70 yards 4 for 6 in that opening drive capped by a 19 yard TD Catch by Jared Peters in the opening drive o. By the start of the 4th Quarter they ran 4 minutes off the clock with their last score while the Falcons couldn't reach the end zone until their was only a few minutes left in the game which The Norwood Indians had built up a 21-7 lead and Fenwick Falcons and star QB #12 Ricky Davis had fallen short by a final 21-14. The Norwood Indians came into the game as a #3 seed and yet were being chosen to lose and being the underdog. The Falcons came into the game averaging 37.3 points and the Indians defense had only giving up 9 points a game.
