Unless I missed it, I haven't seen a thread for this game yet. Looks like it will be the first, and only, real test for the Raptors. What do our Cincy area fans think about this matchup?
Yep. One sided stands. I’m told Turpin is designed the same way, too.Might check this game out. Unfortunately not a lot of seating at Anderson for a game like this,
Get the Massillon film, when they played Anderson is the state semi 's in 2023. Anderson went right down the field on the opening drive, and then Massillon made the adjustments, and Anderson could do nothing more, and that was the game. Massillon controlled the rest of the gameI’ve said the same thing for 5 yrs, Anderson will probably pass around 40/50 times.
Slant pass right
Slant pass left

QB draw run.
They have a system that has been working for them for years and they do an excellent job of running it.
I absolutely love our WW defense, if our DB’s can play well and limit the big plays, I really like WW chances.
I would definitely put a spy on their QB all night if possible.
Go Warriors
I’ll take this opportunity to defend Kings. Granted, Anderson stomped them, but I think that’s more of an indication of how good Anderson really is than an idication that Kings isn’t a real challenge. I think they’re inarguably somewhere between the second and fifth best team in the region Anderson needs to win, and I’d lean toward second or third. I expect a playoff rematch, and I think they’ll fare better, though I don’t think they’ll win by any means. They’ve definitely improved their play calling following the Anderson beat down, and their defense is really good, esp against the run. I think they’re a way better team right now than the team that in many ways dominated WW but somehow found a way to lose by two touchdowns.Unless I missed it, I haven't seen a thread for this game yet. Anderson’s a better team this year, and I would hope they learned a lot from that game. They were intimidated in that game but I don’t think they will be against anybody this year.Get the Massillon film, when they played Anderson is the state semi 's in 2023. Lots of football left to be played yet, but I'm predicting they match up with Massillon again in the final 4. So if it happens, time will tellAnderson’s a better team this year, and I would hope they learned a lot from that game. undoubtedly a game that will end around 11:30 pm or midnight.I’ve said the same thing for 5 yrs, Anderson will probably pass around 40/50 times.

It sounds like the WW offense has been an issue for them for the last 2 years or so. Is there any particular reason or reasons for this? I would think that WW has plenty of talent on that side of the ball to have more success than they have had lately.I know the WW defense can slow the Anderson defense down to 20 to 26 points but the WW offense has been sloppy the majority of the season. WW"s will need to make plays on special teams and defense to win this game.
Anderson has had issues stopping the run in previous years, and the defense is definitely the "weak" spot of their team. While they haven't really played anyone this year, the defense has been dominant. Couple that with a passing offense that can light up the scoreboard and that's why they are a legitimate D2 title contender. It sounds like the WW offense has been an issue for them for the last 2 years or so. Please do your "picture of the scoreboard" game updates on Friday for this one. Those are much appreciated. Thanks. It will be a good one! I will be there!
It's the Spectrum Game of the week. I think it's $10 to watch. Will this be streamed anywhere someone in NEO can watch it?
Second this. Please do your "picture of the scoreboard" game updates on Friday for this one. Those are much appreciated. Thanks.
Their offense is still very rough. A lot of their points have come on defense, and blocked punts in particular. They have 25 offensive td’s to Kings’s 29, and that lead will be a lot bigger after this week. Also WW appears to be 7th in the conference in offensive yards, though I grant they’re often limited in that regard by short fields and touchdowns from turnovers. They do appear to be better than last year, but in the two games I’ve seen them play, their offense was a train wreck. I think Anderson is fully capable of shutting out the offense, so imo they need to be able to hold Anderson to two touchdowns or less and get defense and special teams points. And shut down the Anderson O when they go for it on fourth down and get short fields.I agree with the idea of spying the QB all night, easier said than done with how Anderson's offense is designed.
I also agree that I'd be looking a lot at the Massillon tape from last year, but the one thing that really stood out in that game was how much pressure Massillon was able to get with their DL. Anderson could not set up their unique route concepts due to the pressure up front. That is how you really mess with Anderson. If you rely on blitz packages to get that pressure, Anderson will make you pay with hitting the vacated areas from the blitz.
Everyone is talking about Anderson's offense v WW Defense, and rightfully so.... they are both other-worldly at this time. However, this game comes down to WW offense v Anderson's defense. Both are much improved from last year with WW scoring the 2nd most points per game behind Anderson, and Anderson giving up the 2nd fewest points per game behind Winton Woods. Which one will have more success?? Can't wait for Friday night.... wonder if Marty Brenneman will make an appearance for this one?
