With regard to the historical significance of this contest, I confess to leaving right before the very end. Having seen a pair of games recently where the team that was trailing attempted to lateral the ball (i.e. Stanford Band) on the final play only to have it backfire, I began to wonder if Nordonia did the same thing here.

It was the first game played at the new Boliantz Stadium. It was also the closest anyone came to defeating the eventual 2010 state champions.
