Gales probably are in the unique D1 territory of “they are capable of pulling an upset against a higher seed, and also likely to not reach the district stage of the tournament.” Capable of playing hot baseball in an elimination game through effective small ball and if the D is on, but probably limited in their pitching depth to last long.

Good to see you come around on Orange! Ha!

Will be interesting to see what happens with Liberty. I think with all their guys available and healthy, the Top 4 in the central district is pretty clear cut...

-Lancaster is starting to play better...
-Big Walnut is 9-0
- Mount Vernon playing well

Overall, I think after the top 4 you have about 10 teams or so who will be able to compete...

"Healthy"......that is one way to put it.

Look at Big Walnut's schedule. 15-20 teams would be undefeated with that schedule.

No pun intended with "Healthy"

Not a top 10 team in Big Nut, but they are finding ways to get it done. I would say they have a few decent wins, beat a D1 arm in Milligan from Delaware. I'd have them in the Top 20.

I still like Berlin at #1.... That Senior leadership/experience will pay dividends come May.

Probably won’t know anything about where the Gales stand until after the three games vs Pick Central. The non-league body of work is shallow, and the only non-league wins of their OCC-Buckeye opponents played to date have been… Chillicothe, Franklin Heights and Chagrin Falls (via Reynoldsburg.)

Might need to continue to come around on Orange. They beat Liberty tonight. I think it is the first team to beat them full strength. Was anyone at the game? How many did the Louisville commit throw?

Best arm in state. Top 10 in the nation. That'll win you 8-10 games AND get you to the District Final easily.

Orange lost everyone. They'll be lucky to be .500
Just checked area stats, and didn’t see any wins for the #1 pitcher in the state. Is he hurt?

Big Walnut: 15-0
10 of those 15 wins have come against teams from their league which includes the likes of Franklin Heights which account for two of those wins and one of the wins came against highly regarded Mifflin, though they do seem to have Westerville Norths number most of their games seemed to have been close.

Looking forward to their games vs. Dublin Scioto next week. Should provide a better read.
