The D has a tremendous amount of depth returning in the back...LB's and DB's will be the strength of this unit. D needs to shore up the front 3 or 4 to be a stout unit. Medina demonstrated the ability to run the ball in the playoffs last year. Ramos is dangerous with his ball fakes and legs...

CJ was a big reason the team won the state championship in 2018 when he was a sophomore. His play at ILB allowed the Eagles to move D personnel to other roles making the unit more stout as the season progressed. Go Eagles!

Hoban demonstrated to the balance of the Eagles' opponents that the intermediate passing game was going to be a challenge in 2020 for the St. Edward offense and stacked the box to defend the run. Watch the game film and one will see that both Medina ILB's immediately filled gaps at the snap of...

Just my ranking opinions 1. Best Athlete: Burke 2. Most Accurate Passer: Kean 3. Best Running Threat: Tie...Burke, Carney, and Dzuro (while Gardner and Ramos get consideration as well) 4. Toughest: While they were all tough, my personal favorite was Dzuro. 5. Most Underrated: Keefe, with a...

Great list...thank you. The crazy one on here was Lavisky and when he made the decision to commit to baseball only as a Senior. It cleared the way for Burke to assume the QB role his Junior year. Go Eagles!

The Eagles spread the ball around on O in the 1st half and concentrated on the running game in the 2nd half to enjoy a victory. O line continues its steady play and the D shows improvement weekly. On to Medina in the 2nd round, which poses an interesting challenge. Best way to slow their passing...

Eagle O line looked very solid last evening, even with a starter missing from the lineup. D continues to show weekly improvement. They seem very settled with both their FS and SS and liberally rotate corners (outside of Castleberry) throughout the game. It appears they will have some solid...

I like the two back offensive set the Eagles have shown this year. It provides more options and it seems to work well so far. I think Jackson Miller can be used more efficiently on O. In the slot, he can be used to provide greater presence in the intermediate passing game just as a TE might. Go...

Not much to say about the win other than the Eagles enjoyed an opportunity to get more work in and appeared to come away healthy. The Benedictine game should be a very good contest. Go Eagles!
