I like beating dead horses. The regions are a sacred cow in Ohio, and I'm even more amazed at the ridiculous rationalizations in favor of keeping them.
West Virginia doesn't have them and has LONGER road trips than Ohio. And there isn't anybody in the state who wants regions for the football...
Winton Woods missed the playoffs because of the stupid regions. Expansion wasn't needed. The regions kept Winton Woods out of the playoffs. I'm curious as to why you didn't mention this. Many teams in other regions had less Harbin points than Winton Woods.
This isn't a bad idea. I just want the best 32 teams in the state in the playoffs. Every team in the playoffs should have more Harbin points than every team that is out of the playoffs.
The regions created the fiasco of having two undefeated teams out of the playoffs in 2019.
Shelby County is also ridiculous. They have seven high schools and a population of 48,230.
It wasn't hard to look up high schools in West Virginia. Kanawha County (Charleston) has eight high schools and a population of 180,745. After that, no county has more than four high schools. If Shelby...
If you are opposed to having big school districts, then you need to divide Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Columbus. Each city is one school district. You should divide them into at least six districts in each city. If there are these gigantic school districts with ten big schools, then what is the...
The number of school districts in Ohio is ridiculous. West Virginia has 55 counties and 55 school districts--the county is the district. I can't understand why more states don't do it this way.
Belmont County should just have Belmont East and Belmont West. Jefferson County would do just fine...
There are obvious answers to this one. There should be a triangular rivalry among these three schools.

Let's get all those Crestviews playing each other!
Hardly anybody goes to D3 college games. Most kids are away from home, so even parents don't attend as much as they will attend high-school games. Some students go to the games. Maybe faculty goes to the games. At the D3 basketball games in Texas, admission is actually free.
Back when I lived...
I'm in some Facebook chats with people who insist that there were playoffs before 1972. What are they thinking of? OHSAA started their playoffs in 1972.
Marietta High School and Marietta College both play at Don Drumm Stadium. It makes no sense for the really big colleges. I can't understand why more small colleges don't do it.
