You have a different perspective on what is going on. Sadly, those vehicles you mentioned are being processed through DLA to go to ranges throughout the US to be used as targets in our own exercises... Proxy wars are fought with what we wish to experiment with, and this is one of those. Kind of like we aren't pushing DU munitions to counter reactive armor on Russian tanks, etc. Why? We already know. Dude, turn the light on. Maybe things are different in West Jeff but there is a whole different reality happening globally. Though you may think we are giving the dregs of our arsenal to Ukraine, we are very much engaged in the R&D of this war and that is beyond the Buck Rogers that we know. Wake Up....this is not a hands-off war and there is more cash being spilled into that theater than you and I will ever know.
This is very much like divorce, child custody, court where one party will try to exhaust the resources of the other to give way. Once, America has been involved with this over the next five years at the tune of $1T, Americans will finally call no joy and what happens...Russia wins, much like Vietnam, without the American souls. Dude, proxy wars are not won on the battlefield, they are won in the bank account and nothing changes for us other than a larger debt. Hell, Vietnam is a tourist vacation now...WTF?

Take care of America and Americans first and allocate those funds for AMERICA. Please, don't give me we are fighting communism/socialism BS before it hits our shores, we have Democratic Socialist as elected officials...that ship has sailed and that war is long lost.

What benefit does Ukrainian sovereignty give to the US? Oil? Wheat? Regional stability? Hell Crimea went to Russia under Barry's reign and we didn't miss a beat. Remember Wilson and FDR were both isolationist...good democrats.

It does not take a 70 IQ to understand you cannot put a limit. It changes the whole strategic play by the enemy. MAGA is no longer pro-isolationist it is Pro-Putin/Pro-Russia/Pro-Autocratic. The MAGA GOP is taking a side...the wrong side and you have to be very naive to think Putin will honor a peace treaty or stop at Ukraine.

One definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Given the US and NATO has given how ever many billions of dollars in aid to Ukraine, and they are at best not winning, will additional military aid just prolong the time it takes for Putin to force Kyiv's surrender? If the West truly wants to defeat Putin, will it take NATO boots on the battlefield to do so?

Possibly the only thing his district has going for it. Writ-Patt is to Dayton what OSU is to Columbus. An economic hub that provides decent jobs for his constituents. He is not my favorite but at least he is a serious person and not a cosplay performer like Jordan/MTG and the slut from Colorado

I believe 1/2 to 2/3 R’s oppose Ukrainian military assistance but I believe 1/4 to 1/3 favor it - that’s far more than a few “nitwits”.

With the events of the weekend, I am bewildered (more than usual) about what is going on in the world. Choreographed attacks. An invaded country being asked not to take the war to the aggressor. Is Team Biden, along with complicit Republicans, simply practicing foreign policy as a board game like Risk while Xi Jinping and Putin are playing 4D chess? Then again Team Biden may simply be willing to let the world burn in order to stay in power.
