Dershowitz interpreted the law as it's applied not according to the whims of any agency.

Subpoena when there is no danger of destruction of documents, the president determines classified documents and was participating in that process, the process is criminalized when it is obvious that that is the only way they can beat Trump.

Two years after the fact, the political conditions merit that is the only way to beat Trump. So they reverse a legal process he was already participating in.

Hillary was running a server with Top Secret and Classified documents that she destroyed, and the FBI did nothing.

Lets see how that turns out!

According to who? Biden's popularity is at a new low and no one on either side is fooled by how this committee has been presenting only "evidence" that supports their lies, no bi-partisan members and is setup to only slant what information they present.

The search warrant to be legitimate had to have Trump present and the danger of documents being destroyed or a subpoena should have been issued for the documents.

You don't get a warrant when a subpoena would suffice UNLESS you are going after a potential political candidate that you can't beat!

Presidential Records Act of 1978 defines that the president shall determine what is "presidential papers".

Someone is in serious trouble for overreach AGAIN trying to stretch the law to get Trump because they had already been in negotiations over this and he had returned documents.

The mere accusation or in this case raid is the thing.

The dim bulbs among us see "Trumps home raided" and go well he must be guilty of something. The all clear will be given in hushed tones and back page articles.

You can get away with it when the media is essentially an arm of your party.

Nothing was done to her, as they go after Trump with the full force of the law to the point of raiding his home...reinforcing the perception of a two tiered justice system.

Time to deescalate. Actions -- not intentions, not words. If Trump is truly a wannabe monster, then one-upping him and actually becoming that monster they're fighting is madness. No one in DC would ever permit him to exercise this type of authority, but they sure do like to use it for themselves it seems.

trump is not the president so he doesn't define anything. he was issued a subpoena for these records month ago and didn't comply. so stop the with the whining. the problem is you know the feds are more than likely to find what they are looking for and quite possibly a lot more. The FBI doesn't swing and miss all that often
