I don't know if it was the PK's 1st two attempts of the year but I remember that the Mogadore PK made his first two FGs of the year in that unbelievable 1996 D6 title game with St. Henry. His name was Pendergast and he kicked a FG to give Mogadore a 3-0 lead, his 1st made FG of the season as I remember it. St. Henry scored 35 unanswered points and then Mogadore scored right before the half to make it 35-9 at halftime. Anyway it was 44-44 at the end of regulation, Mogadore tied it with about 15 seconds left, and finally Mr. Pendergast kicked the game-winning FG in the 3rd OT and the Wildcats won 61-58. All the talk was that those were his only FGs of the season but he may have attempted some that he missed. Maybe a Mogadore fan can verify.

Lake guy here. Tip of the hat to Van wert on the win and kudos to both team for playing a game both should be proud of. It's been a tough 10'ish years for the Lake program, and the boys did us proud this year. It was a great run.
