FORMER PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: My point is that even as we push the envelope and we are bold in our vision, we also have to be rooted in reality and the fact that voters, including Democratic voters and certainly persuadable independents or even moderate Republicans, are not driven by the same views that are reflected on certain, you know, left-leaning Twitter feeds or the activist wing of our party.

This is still a country that is less revolutionary than it is interested in improvement. They like seeing things improved. But the average American doesn't think that we have to completely tear down the system and remake it. And I think it's important for us not to lose sight of that.

He basically is saying, "Y'all bunch of over-eager morons are showin' your azzes here. They'll know who we really are if we don't slow the roll, idiots.", as I read it.

Dem echo-chamber Twitter makes them pretty easy to organize but hard to ignore. Nancy knew, but she lost the room.
 
Maybe after Trump's 2nd term and halfway through Pence or Haley's 1st term them might have the "aha" moment...….

Actually pretty successful. the Democrat Party has been relentless in following the socialism march for nearly 120 years, the country is much more socialist than if they'd have actually run on it. Unfortunately for them, we've got all of the fiscal problems with none of the alleged benefits. We can still undo them and recover. As an example: they got Obamascam passed, that wouldn't have happened if they'd have done what they originally wanted to do.

That’s because Obama is now part of the establishment.

Clinton, Bush, Obama. All part of the “middle of the road” establishment.

Obama was “supposed” to be the left’s way of breaking the corrupt and evil establishment but he turned out to be another fraud.

Trump appears to be the first true non-establishment individual, so it makes sense why the media who is owned by the establishment is throwing a conniption

Actually they've made enormous progress and Obama is smart enough to recognize it.

In the culture alone we now claim it's bigotry to question whether a guy who thinks he's a girl can use a public women's restroom! And that's just the tip of the iceberg. I could go on for 100 pages laying out the cultural changes that have taken place over the last 20 years that folks back then would have thought were impossible.

The majority of Americans don't want what you guys are selling JcksnPlrBrs and the ONLY thing holding you back are elections & the constitution. But in your mind that's just a temporary set-back. First, you try to take control by cheating in the election and then once you have control you take your cutting knives to the constitution.

I don't like Obama but he never was a fool.
 
He is now carefully saying otherwise, but obama was the guy who started tearing it down/apart. He is the guy who said he would transform America.

He can never be trusted, especially after the obamaKare lie, and then the weaponizing of federal agencies against political opponents.

Do not fall for the ruse; stay vigilant.
