Wrestlers not appearing at the podium of the state championship

Right. Everyone acting like the Feisters won’t be ok are crazy. College football and the NFL are literally half kids with a lot crazier stuff than those kids. Hell PJ Duke just beat up the crowd in NY and is all good. Feisters work hard they will both be D1 football players if they so choose.
you got the wrong guy. Not PJ Duke and not NY.

The coach apologized to all the 190s before giving the awards, said he was embarrassed. Other coaches that know these kids said they do stuff like this for the attention, so this thread is exactly what they hoped for.
The Hoban coach apologized? What exactly did he say?

The NFHS stream showed the match from the opposite side of the YouTube video that was linked in here. On the NFHS stream you couldn't see the coach taking a call just prior to the timeout. A coach taking a call in the middle of a 1 point state title match is wild!

I've never seen either Feister boy from wrestle until this weekend. They are really tough. Really strong, look to be technical as well. I don't know of too many kids that can stop shots like that 215 lber did. Props to Michael Boyle and staff for sticking to the script and being the animal he is, and staff they are!
As far as not showing up for the podium, its not a good look. I get it, you are emotional after a loss, but get your butt up there and take your medicine. There was no foul play or bad calls. The illegal moves are on film.
I don't know the kids and wish them the best in their respective careers, and I don't hate on them at all, even though it seems like the easy thing to do with some of the things that have been posted.

Boyle really did a great job hand fighting in the first, picking a couple attacks in the second, and then fighting them off at the end.
