WK 13 Massillon (12-0) vs Lake (9-3)

-After 12 Games-

Tigers—————490 pts.
Opponents———-95 pts.
Only giving up 95 pts is really impressive considering the type of offense played today. Have to go back to the 80’s Tigers teams to see anything similar.
Although I do have to say Hoban has given up only 88 pts in 11 games and Avon has also given up 95 pts in 12 games.

If the Lake center had trouble with snaps last night I can’t imagine he’s gonna have a fun night lining up across from Mike Wright. I recall a few bad snaps in the game last year between these two teams.
It actually had very little to do with who was or will be lined up across from him.... Don't act like you understand what each player is dealing with... 🤔

Same with Hoban and Avon if they play in the semis.
Avon gives up points. But I think they pair Massillon and Hoban in regional finals. 2 best teams but they want to give Massillon a chance to knock of the knights so they can have 2 pub's in the finals. Otherwise Avon loses to Hoban again for the 4th time in the semi finals.

Idk what they’re gonna do but every time in the past that the regions shook out this way they put Avon vs Hoban.

And I think they want to give Avon a chance to make the finals by playing the weaker of the 3 remaining teams.
I'm fairly certain they follow travel distance guidelines. Massillon will play a cincy team and Hoban will play Avon if the regional favorites take care of business.

The only time in recent history this didn't happen was when Toledo CC won the Cleveland/Toledo region. Massillon those years stayed north while CC went down I75.

Very strange circumstances made that occur. We were the only venue that offered to host on short notice after a Covid health order made the games unplayable in Franklin County.

Massillon deserves praise for hosting, not greif.
Wasn't giving you grief. Just making a statement. I was at the game and loved the atmosphere. I was asked when has the OHSAA been pro public and I thought this was a good example.
