I reckon this game will be somewhere along the I-77 corridor, but I have no idea who all has submitted bids to host. Dover makes the most sense with Meadowbrook as a backup. I know Meadowbrook isn't centrally located, but there aren't many options in that part of the state, and New Philly won last night, so that's probably not an option. Maybe put Trimble and Springfield at St. Clairsville or Meadowbrook if this game gets placed at Dover.

Slight correction: Mogadore is averaging 36 PPG.

Additional Info: Per Drew Pasteur Fantastic 50.

Mogadore SOS: Ranked 9th in Division 6. (Only team left in the playoffs with better SOS is Anna).

FF SOS: 79th in Division 6.

Mogadore (-4) with 60% chance to win.

Should be a great matchup! Pretty much a pickem game!

366 points divided by 11 is 33.2

These teams are so similar.

Mogadore is run heavy with a huge line. 3 good RBs Dylan Jones , Nick Skye , and Tyler Knight. QB is first year Starter but is very capable he threw for 200 yards vs Shadyside. They have 1 big 6-4 Wr in Nate Stephenson.

Fort Frye Wing T team has 3 good RBs Tyler Fisher , Brian Adkins , and Zane Wallace. They have a first year Qb in Ian Ellis who is a nice passer. They also have 6-3 Wr in Brady Schilling. Fort has a big line and huge TE in 6-5 Eric Isner.

To be fair, you are both wrong (you and Walsh)

Mogadore has averaged 37.1 ppg.

Their point total, just going off JoeEitel's site, is 408, not 366 or whatever, not sure how you got 366. I did it all in my head, but to make sure I didn't add it up wrong I put it in a spreadsheet.

I went to post a copy/paste and it didn't format worth a crap. So I attached a pdf of the spreadsheet.

The teams have one common opponent, Meadowbrook.

FF beat Meadowbrook by 8.
Mogadore beat Meadowbrook by 24.

Means nothing for this game, but its something to talk about.

I will say that the other 3 teams Mogadore played this year that ran wing T type offenses were Field, Crestwood, and Garfield (3 seed in D5R17 this season). Mogadore struggled for the first half against all 3 of them when it comes to stopping the run.

In all 3 games however, Mogadore completely shut them down in the 2nd half.

That is a common theme for Mogadore this year against good teams. Shadyside, Meadowbrook, Garfield, even Crestwood, etc. Games are shootouts for the first half then Mogadore goes and shuts them down for the 2nd half.

They did that even in their loss to Lima CC (was top 3 team in the state, but weirdly got upset last night as a 1 vs 8). Mogadore was down 21-0 at half and completely shut them down in 2nd half and tied it up 21-21 but to lose on 1 broken play 27-21 in the 4th.

Fort Frye lead 42-20 late in the Meadowbrook game. Meadowbrook hit a long pass for a score then Fort Frye fumbled and gave them a short field. They scored. Fort Frye never trailed in that game actually Fort has yet to Trail in the 2nd half all year.

Meadowbrook played Mogadore the next week and was without starting QB Josh Hupp. He played vs Fort but not against Moggy.

Comparing scores normally means nothing.

Shadyside lost to Moggy by 7 and Wheeling Central by 7. Fort beat Wheeling Central 42-0.

Like I said I don’t think any of that matters now. Fort was without Adkins and Wallace didn’t play offense vs Meadowbrook. Fort Frye normally is a complete different team at end of the year the coaches coach these boys up so well. Both these teams have been very successful in the playoffs recently I think this will be a dandy.

1. Did you really just post about 3 excuses about the Meadowbrook common opponent?

2. Did you really just include a 4 team combo? Not a common opponent, but an A to B to C to D as a rebuttal?

That there is some mental gymnastics my friend.

As said above..

Drew Pastuer’s has it 4 point favorite for Mogadore.

Calpreps has it a 1 point favorite for FF.

Should be a barn burner.

You got most of the Mogadore-Lima CC game highlights correct but Mogadore never tied the game in the 2nd half. Moggy closed it to 21-13 in the 4th quarter but # 2 Thomas scored a rushing TD with just over 2 minutes to go making it 27-13. Mogadore scored a late TD and 2 point conversion to make it 27-21. They then had a penalty on the onside kick which for all intents and purposes ended the game. Great comeback though from a 21-0 halftime deficit.

Mogadore played Kirtland tougher then anyone last 2 seasons. They have to be happy they moved to D5.

You're only half right. Mogadore did play Kirtland closer than anyone last year. The previous year however, Marion Local beat Kirtland by 23 points and actually had a running clock on the Hornets

True statement. Kirtland only had 1 close game last year. However, while Mogadore was their only close game until the finals the year before, they got blown out by MSML.

Fort Frye played Kirtland tough last year. It was 21-18 Fort had the ball 1st n goal and threw a pick. It was 28-18 and all Kirtland had to do was knee it and QB had a late TD run 35-18 final. I think the Cadets learned a ton from that game.

Cadet SRs are very seasoned with playoff experience this will be 11th playoff game by the group.
