first of all, congratulations to all of the swimmers this year. It was an awesome season to experience.

But now to next year, who are the going to be the top teams in 2011?

My guess would be st X and St F with a slight edge to st F. UA also has a few strong swimmers coming back, but both St Charles and Centerville lose a lot of talent. So lets hear what you think.

I pretty much agree with your prediction. St. X loses a few talented swimmers as well, but I'm sure they've got guys ready to step up. I'm thinking they'll be about as strong as they were this year. But with St. Francis returning their entire state line up, I would definitely agree they have the edge.
UA, Centerville, and St. Charles all seem like they'll be pretty close, and that North Canton Hoover team has a sophomore sprinter whose pretty good, and although they graduate a lot, they've got a few returning relay swimmers, and they may be able to break into the top 3 if they can qualify a few of those guys individually.

St Charles is almost a complete rebuild for 2011. They will have to fill alot of spots. Swanson, Willi and Mckiney back. Could be a long year for the men of St. Charles

At the state level the edge has to go to StF as they do return their entire state team. StX will reload, but StF could be tough to top. UA certainly looks to be the next strongest, although they lose several strong seniors. Centerville loses significant state points but still has some depth that may develop. SC loses probably the most and has a major rebuilding project before it at the state level. Interestingly, although SC will likely drop some at the state level, UA should not assume that the District title is theirs. SC does not reload like StX at the state level but they are very capable at the district level. Looking at points coming back and lost at the district level, SC is pretty even with UA. Depending on how swimmers develop and improve next year's district meet could be similar to this year.

right now, St F has the lead with 14 swims at state coming back in 2011, St x is second with 11, then UA with 7, Centerville with 5 and St charles with 4. The big difference between X and st F is that x has one top 8 swim coming back(haas, backstroke), St F has 6 top 8 performances coming back(dan disalle, 50/100, williams, 200/back, mike disalle, 200 and phil barone, breast) In my opinion, this is the biggest reason X is not the favorite
