hard to believe nobody has started this thread, but how we lookin' for this year? how are the lancer faithful this fall and what have we got ahead?

Well CC, freshman game was rather insightful had it not been for a questionable call by West freshman coach, it would've been a tie or potential loss, depending on the last 3 min. West freshman owned the game after the first quarter and once West figured out how to stop most everything except for a couple of long plays, the freshman did not look all that good. The JV game was a bit different and we will see what today brings. What might be your thoughts

The freshman were really balanced last night just needed to adjust better on offense. Both teams played well with some mistakes on both sides. Remember several freshman players are playing up. And hey those long plays won the game lol! They did well with the recent roster moves and guys being called on to step up their game to fill spots. Glad to see them get the W. Heard one of the guys raise his voice in a huddle on the sideline saying "... that's an excuse, winners don't make excuses, let's go!" Loved that intensity.

JV struggled in the beginning but came around. Both teams had problems with cramping after half time.

We noticed many of our playmakers (Freshman and sophomore varsity 2's and 3's) were on the sidelines saving playing time for varsity tonight. Did you guys have that same issue? Liked the depth on JV and really happy to see Greene step up. JV Offense adjusted well against a very good Lakota D. Watson showed maturity and poise beyond his years- he will be a lot of fun to watch the next four years. Glad to see them not quit in the 4th after getting burned going for it on 4th down on the 50. Loved the aggressive decision but that changed the momentum. Overall- La Salle got two w's and lots of work to do.
