What Have You Learned Today ?, #3

It's not clear how you're mocking a potential stupid law in one case and supporting it in the other?

I'm not MAGA, and NY didn't want them out of the plazas, a lawmaker did. So 0-2 there champ.

If you're asking why that lawmaker had that desire, it was because had a problem with Chik-fil-a and their stance on homosexuality. It's an odd question though since it was covered in that thread.
First, I think the flag planting law is dumb and the requirement for 7 day retail availability in travel plazas is not dumb. As such, these two things are not at odds. It’s really dumb to suggest they are.

Second, whether the conspiracy is God or being gay, it is not one guy you liar. The bill has numerous sponsors.

You think it's not dumb because you have no ability not to be biased. The requirement for the plazas, as we discussed, was food availability 7 days a week. The company responsible for making sure that was covered did just that, regardless of whether Chik-fil-a was opened on Sunday or not. The law proposal you're defending was just a butthurt NY rep wanting to make a point, just like the Ohio dude. I can recognize both as being dumb but that's obviously too much for your partisan brain.

No, there's no "whether the conspiracy is God." You just made that whole thing up liar. And there was only 1 sponsor and several co-sponsors, liar. You do realize how these things work right? There can be 1 individual behind the bill and many others that back it? Or is that too confusing for you? Anyway, there's no debating whether it had something to do with homosexuality, it's a fact....liar. lol

Ohio Taliban wants to ban flag planting at Ohio Stadium (just OSU stadium because they cannot lose with class)

One pandering doofus did this, doofus. Not the whole taliban. Get it right.

So you now agree with the Ohio Pub that wants to set rules for the Buckeye's stadium? Interesting lol

BTW - normal people would think the snowflake was the one butthurt over Chik-fil-A's homosexuality stance to the point they want to pass a law to dictate their days of operation. I'm not surprised you don't get that though.
I'm glad that the lefty crap-stains boycott Chik-fil-A. I wish more people would boycott it. The Macedonia one has 3 lines and it's crazy busy all of the time.

Police officer of the year!

The U.S. Capitol Police lieutenant who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt at the Capitol on Jan. 6 was recommended for termination in 2001 for abandoning his post in the Speaker’s Office for a card game in a nearby cloakroom, then lying about it to Internal Affairs Division investigators, Blaze News has learned.

The 2001 investigation of Michael L. Byrd, 56, was the first known disciplinary case brought against the lieutenant who crept from his blind near the doors to the Speaker’s Lobby on Jan. 6, 2021, and shot Babbitt to death. The 2001 incident is the fourth such disciplinary case disclosed since Nov. 20.

A source with detailed knowledge of the Internal Affairs Division case told Blaze News that Byrd was charged with abandoning his post, eating and drinking at his post, and lying to investigators — a terminable offense. It is one of three Byrd disciplinary cases for which records could not be found when a House oversight subcommittee requested them in early 2024, the source said.

We have been thru this before. The requirement was food availability. The state was not happy with the contractor whose definition of that was a convenience store. They seek to change the rule to require restaurant availability.

It’s not one rep. As I proved to you the bill has a list of sponsors and co-sponsors.

You are correct. There is no debate. You are stating as fact that this bill is about gay people. For something to be fact there has to be irrefutable proof. Post the proof that this is about being gay. There is nothing in the bill about being gay and I have never seen any supporter of the bill claim the bill was about homosexuality or reference it in any way.

I have no interest in your conspiracy or what you think. I never asked you your crackpot opinion. Bias is based on a pre conceived idea. Given you offer no facts, you are the dude showing bias.

Lastly, you are comparing a single slapdick butt hurt about a football celebration with an actual bill with multiple sponsors who seek to expand services for travelers. How dumb.

First & foremost I am not a big fan of LeBron James. I do not know if allegations of James’ media company losing $30 mil a year is true or not - nor do I care, he can more than afford it. I have no idea if James was/is close to Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. Also, I have never heard of this ‘Shadow of Ezra’.

I do know a bit about basketball and for one to say a 39 year old averaging 35 minutes, 23 pts, 8 rebounds & 9 assist a game in his 22nd season is “struggling”…..well, can we all agree this ‘Shadow of Ezra’ doesn’t know too much about basketball? Heck in James’ last game played he went for 39 pts, 10 rebounds & 11 assist.

Based on the basketball, this ‘Shadow of Ezra’ is a fool, I’m not going to put too much stock into their other allegations.

I knew a man that bought a run down old bar in a small village, fixed it up and had what I would call a nice neighborhood bar. Never had trouble or any problems that police or sheriff depts had to get in volved in. Yet the village council decided it would be the best if the village was a dry village and put it on the ballot for the voters to decide and in a very close vote voted the village dry and put the man out of business. I find that wrong in many ways. Can I ask when Chik-fil-A got the leases were they told they had to be open 7 days a week? Who ever was in charge of giving the leases out not know Chik closed on Sundays. I have stopped at the plazas and their are more choices to get food that just Chik -fil-A and from what the other places have told me they are glad Chik closes on Sunday at least they have one day a week they do not have to compete with them for business.

The state of NY subcontracted the retail services. They are the ones that brought chik-fil-A in. The lack of restaurant service on Sunday was viewed to be problematic so they are seeking to change the requirement for future tenants.

I do have a question about your example. Did the village council change the drinking law because they thought it was in the best interest of their citizens or did they do it because of gay people?

Not becasue of gay people. that old bar had been close for a while and I think the village council thought it would never open again. while it was closed is when it should have gone to a vote not after it was bought repaired and reopened. I asked but the person that had bought and spent did not tell me how much money he lost. He just said things happen and he went on with his life.

OK. I was not sure because Tyler said the NY proposed law was because of gay people even though there is no mention of gay people in the bill or by any of its sponsors. He made that up about a year ago and decided on its anniversary to rekindle another right wing nut job conspiracy. I thought your story could be another version of that BS.

Everything Ezra mentions is a true statement.

On another subject, this isn't the 80's or 90's, where teams played D and didn't regularly score 120 points. Getting 20 a game isn't a grand achievement in 2024.
