(4-1) Shawnee at St. Marys (3-2)
(3-2) O-G at Van Wert (4-1)
(0-5) Kenton at Wapak (3-2)
(2-3) Defiance at Elida (3-2)
(1-4) Celina at Bath (3-2)

Game of the week is probably O-G at Van Wert, I think most people believe Shawnee is a tier below the other top 4 teams in the league and that it will show as the schedule plays out. With the losses last week by the final two league unbeatens, it could be an interesting rest of the season. As we head into the 2nd half of the season, it looks like St. Marys and Wapak could have the easiest remaining schedules among the top 5.

Last week was an easy week for 4 of the games, but a big loss on the other, as the consensus went 4-1. But there were 4 losing records among pickers, and five 3-2 records, so almost half the 20 people had less than a 4-1 record. First place HighSchoolFB45 scored the only set of perfect picks in a dueling pick situation and broke a tie with now-2nd place alone, Hback. Still getting a new entrant halfway through the season, welcome Move The Chains. Just one game was a unanimous pick this week, as no one chose Celina over Elida. Maybe odd, because Celina’s not the worst team in the league and Elida might not even be in the top half either. Also interesting that until the final few picks, the only Defiance people on this message board were the only people picking Defiance to lose...

Elida over Celina 20-0 (win)
Van Wert over St. Marys 18-2 (loss)
Wapak over Shawnee 16-4 (win)
O-G over Bath 16-4 (win)
Defiance over Kenton 15-5 (win)

St. Marys: Shawnee just isn't on the same level as the top 4. Best of the rest, but not quite enough.
Van Wert: Total toss up, this one should be a shootout. I just can't see the Cougars losing back to back.
Wapak: If Defiance rushed for 300+ against Kenton, this one could be a running clock by the end of the first quarter. Yes, I know. I said what I said.
Elida: I want to believe. I want to pick my Dogs. I'm just not quite sure they're at this level...yet.
Bath: Closer than we would have thought a couple weeks ago, but Bath still wins it comfortably.

(4-1) Shawnee at St. Marys (3-2) - after starting 4-0, Shawnee might finish 1-5 the rest of the way.
(3-2) O-G at Van Wert (4-1) - if this game was in Ottawa, or any stadium other than Eggerrs stadium, I would pick OG to win. I think they are the better team. However Van Wert always plays significantly better at Eggerrs so I’m going to go with them
(0-5) Kenton at Wapak (3-2) - not close
(2-3) Defiance at Elida (3-2) - Defiance is a solid team IMO but Elida is better
(1-4) Celina at Bath (3-2) - again, not close

(2-3) Defiance at Elida (3-2)-Bulldogs win...the orange ones!
(1-4) Celina at Bath (3-2)-Celina is just too young!

St. Marys - I can see Shawnee's defense keeping St. Marys' scoring down, but I can also see Shawnee being shut out.
Van Wert - I really want to pick O-G because it has gotten better every week, but I don't think Van Wert's offense will be held to that few points two weeks in a row, and O-G doesn't appear to have an explosive offense. But this is that one toss up every week I will miss no matter who I pick. Sigh.
Edit: I'm going to change my pick to O-G. I was hedging the whole way and sitting on it for 2 days didn't make me want to stay with the VW pick.
Wapak big.
Elida - Celina cured Elida's ails last week. Someday I will pick Defiance to win. Against Celina. Maybe.
Bath - clunker last week for the Wildcats, but Celina has only been close in one game.
