West 6; Sycamore 5

Both teams brought it tonight, and it was one ---- of game. Sycamore led most of the game, but with about 1:30 left, West tied it up, and then with 17 seconds left, put the ball in once more. It was a nail-biter that any fan of lacrosse would've loved to watch.

Both defenses played exceptionally well, and Sycamore's goalie made some terrific saves, as did Ryan Osbourne (about three 1 vs. 1 saves right on the crease!)

When these teams meet again in a week or so (double scheduling), I advise any fan in R4 to show up for a bit...I believe it'll be another exciting game!

they just looked a little flat to me compared to last year's game it was a lot more intense to play and watch

Well, this year is a "down" year for West, as will the next few years that follow...Sycamore too (well, this year at least, I don't know what they've got coming up).

no i totally agree 100 percent both teams are just young. i'd say in the next two years that will be the game to watch

agree and dissagree

sycamore missed 4 chances at least on the crease with the ball and lakota took advantage of it and won. Good fight

West really is not that young, they lose grant hunter and tucker stremming at D and ozzy at goal, a couple of their middies, logan sweeny and kensted at attack. That is basically thier team this year. The only two starters that are returning that help the team out a lot this year are Noonan, and Bishop. I think they will have a really rough year next year.
