Week 9: Winton Woods

A tough matchup before the GCL championship! Winton Woods is loaded with talent including senior RB Miyan Williams (Iowa State commit, OSU best offer), senior WR DeMeer Blankumsee (Toledo commit, UC best offer), senior WR Bryant Johnson Jr. (Arkansas pine bluff offer, 3 star on 247sports), senior db Miquan Grace (UC,UK,IU,UL offers), junior LB Bam Booker (Big Ten offers), and junior QB Michale Wingfield (3 star on 247sports). Obviously a very tough matchup for the Lancers but a W here could keep the Warriors out of the playoffs.
 
 
Tough game for the Warriors. Especially after a close loss to Elder that could have easily been won. Lasalle is a talented team that will be ready to play! Im worried about the Warriors mindset. Have to get over last Friday's loss.

I think you're right to worry about their mindset. This is a tough situation for a 16-17-18-year-old, especially when they all have to know they're at worst the second-best team in the region.

That said, I worry about the LS mindset. They're in already. Just had an emotional win over a rival. League championship game the next week. AND evidence of major egg-laying against a CovCath team they should have beaten and instead got blown off the field.
