Week 8 Scores (9/30-10/6)

Madeira won't see a close game until the State Finals and even then it might not be close. But again, there should not even be a D5.

Why Not? Ohio has finally caught up with other states who have 5-8 divisions. In OH football and basketball have 7 divisions. Why should soccer not have 5 divisions? When there were 3 divisions there were 200+ teams per division. Now schools with 100-150 girls and are not Private schools can play schools with similar resources and population.

Yea right. MND shouldn't be D1. Whatever. Chicken bleep. Gotta be a better way to figure divisions out. Everyone knows about where everyone should be. If Madeira thinks D5 is the spot then go get em! WW should be D5 in soccer.

Not really a path I intended my question to go down. Public vs Private is not going away anytime soon, especially not this year.
If you are Madeira, who came as close as anyone to knocking off Cincinnati D1's best (OH) what is the challenge? Some games maybe, but mostly not. As for Columbus it "appears" that most of the "traditional" powerhouse schools are still in D1. Where in Cincinnati some of the "traditional" powers are now D2 or D3.

If the number of teams in a Division is the issue (formerly 200+) then why not go to even more divisions, not stopping at 5, if in fact football has 5-8, why not do the same for soccer, if it is about catching up?

Great win for OH. Much like Madeira will not see a meaningful game until Cbus games. Part that worries me is lack of any real soccer prior to bigger games, risk of injuries etc.
