Moeller played the entire starting line-up, mixing in one Oline and two Dlinemen, besides Marshall until it was 24-0 late in the game. To say they took there foot off the gas too early is comical. Throwing the ball deep continuously is taking your foot off the gas? LOL. Granted, if Marshall plays they probably do score more, however his other TD was off a backside screen that was called at the perfect time catching Mason in a blitz. Anyone could have scored on that play. Mason D was tougher than expected against the run and Moeller O played undisciplined and dropped passes that should have been TD's. Lets not kid ourselves and act like the rb2 or rb3 wouldnt start at any other school in the area. Hell, if there wasnt a generational talent ahead of them they would probably start anyway! Both run very hard and are fast. Moeller D is the best in the state and came up big twice. If Mason scores on either of the blocked punts that is a different game. Ginnetti should be recruited more heavily as he was all over the field. 106 tackles in a year is no fluke regardless of level of football. They will not win State with special teams like they displayed last night. Refs missed an obvious Face-mask on Mason first drive. Marshall's first TD, while it was a phenominal run, should have been called back for a hold on the edge. That same player got called twice for holding later in the game. Hats off to Mason. Coming from behind against Colerain and Springboro shows they have no quit in them. Lakota West will be able to load the box and play press against Moe receivers. There offense will also present schematical challenges to Moe D. Excited to see the end result. As usual, tremendous high school football being displayed in southwest ohio.
