• I've been getting complaints about the number of advertisements on the site and I am looking into it. Unfortunately, the way the system works, every user gets a different set of advertisements. I haven't re-created it on my computer but have gotten screen shots from others that are way over the top. Something is going to need to change. I'll have something up tonight to work on this and really need help from everyone. There has to be an alternative to using a catch-all ad service like Yappi.com is using now. This is a serious issue as the current system cannot keep going the way that it is. Way too many ads and not enough money being generated is leading to a bad outcome.

It’s why he has zero respect from his peers, and it’s not because of Hoban winning State Championships. Tyrell could learn a lot from Chuck Kyle and how he went about winning the way he did. There is a right way to do it. He’s classless, and he’s proud of it. Give me Chuck Kyle and Tom Lombardo any day of the week.

As a Hoban alum I agree with you 100%. Very arrogant, sad the school supports him the way they do.

Says who? I see a lot of respect given. Nice article in ABJ today talking about Jim Tressell's influence on his coaching career. Guess Jim Tressell has zero respect as well?

I'm sorry, but this is complete nonsense. You want him to pull his starters at 33-7 with 7 min left in the 3rd qtr? Tyrrell has never been one to run up the score in all the games I've seen him coach at Hoban, and has had multiple opportunities to do so vs STV in recent years and hasn't done it. This is the regional semis, if you want your opponent to stop scoring in the 3rd qtr, then I suggest playing better and getting a stop.

Which years are you talking about that he was a great stand up guy against STV? I have also watched Hoban football for many years I don’t believe anyone is saying pull the starters with 7 left in the 3rd but not putting in the 2nd time until the last drive and it’s been a plow out the whole like he did tonight. Personally I’ve seen him do this regardless the team they are playing

I say BS. Why take the chance of your starters getting hurt due to unnecessary play. The outcome wasn’t in doubt. Tyrell taking his shots because SVSM stopped the games due to Hoban coaches bad behavior.

I haven't watched Hoban in the playoffs but I'm sure his starters had played maybe 4-5 quarters of football coming in given their draw. At some point he's got to get his guys ready and step on the gas. And maybe he also enjoyed sticking it to SVSM. Two things can be true at the same time.
