I wonder - if a team no shows, can they be barred from playoffs in the future? Seems like a crappy thing to do to another team (who has to have gate workers, PA announcer, trainers, etc.). Not to mention referees (not that I would mind an early night that I would get paid for ;) )

I shouldn't say no show. Implies the wrong thing. The occasions I heard of the teams let the other team know well in advance.
 
I watched Upper Arlington at Westerville North on the NFHS Network. Scoreless through regulation. I turned on at the start of the first overtime. WN was the higher seed and had the better of play through the overtimes...with the best chance I saw hitting the inside of the post in the final minute of second overtime. Penalty kicks...Upper Arlington comes out on top. Very, very competitive game.
 
6 11 16 17 and 20 all lost in the 53 team NE region in D3 last night.

Some whacky voting made for interesting seeding that's for sure.

As predicted before the season D3 is a meat grinder. Gonna have some district semis and finals that look like regional finals from past years.

I'd call this an upset. Fairmont was 11-5-1, the ELKS were 6-6-4

Next up, a rematch against Lakota West where the teams tied 3--3 during the first match of the season.
 
From NFHS (without a scoreboard), it looks like underdog GlenOak scored a last minute corner kick to upset powerhouse Medina by a goal. I'd guess the game finished 1-0.

I have to think it's Beachwood's to win - especially if they get past Andrews Osborne.

It was an unusually down year for Bay this year - they graduated so much talent last year, it appears.

Bay looked very small and young. Give them a year or two and I'm sure they will be back to normal standards.

That Beachwood and AOA game is almost like a state semi
