Format
Most wrestlers will be placed in pools of six and wrestle five matches.
Four full size mats will be used.

Cost
$21 cash only, pay the day of the tournament at check in
Weigh Ins
The wrestler’s weight will be submitted with the online entry.
On Sunday, February 16 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm wrestlers will weigh in at Watkins Middle School.
Wear a singlet or t-shirt and shorts for weigh-ins.
Wrestlers must be within 2 pounds of their weight that was submitted online.
A wrestler who weighs in 2.1 pounds or more over their submitted weight will be scratched from the tournament. They will not be moved up a weight class.
If a wrestler’s submitted weight needs changed after the online registration form is filled out, email the wrestler’s name and new weight to Eddie Jayne by 11:59 pm on Friday, February 14.
Awards
Medal for first and second place. Certificate for third, fourth, fifth and sixth.

Rules
1:15 periods
Choice of positions in the second and third periods
15 point technical fall
Overtime:
1 minute, start neutral, first score wins
If there is no score in the 1 minute period it goes to the ultimate tie breaker.
Ultimate Tie Breaker:
1. 30 seconds, start in referee’s position
2. The person who scored first in the match chooses top or bottom.
3. The first score ends the match (escape, reversal, back points, locking hands, full nelson, etc).
4. If there is no score in the 30 seconds the top wrestler wins.
Criteria for Placement
The winner shall be the wrestler who:
1. Won the greater number of matches.
2. Won the head to head match.
3. Accumulated the greater number of pins, defaults, forfeits, or disqualifications.
4. Accumulated the greater number of technical falls.
5. Accumulated the greater number of major decisions.
6. Accumulated the greater number of decisions.
7. Accumulated the greater number of pins in the least time.
8. Accumulated the quickest pin.
9. Accumulated the greatest total point differential for decisions.
10. If none of the above resolves the tie, a flip of a coin will be used.
If there is a three way tie at the end of pool wrestling with all three wrestlers having the same record,
the wrestler with the higher ranking will be determined starting with tie breaker criteria number 3.
Then, the remaining two wrestlers will be ranked based on who won the head to head match.
