The level of elation this is provoking in maga is kind of strange. Vance has had a good night but it’s not a great night by any stretch.

I’m actually surprised Walz has done as well as he has. I figured Vance would roll him up and carry him away.

This policy on childcare question, as important as it is, doesn’t fit neatly into a debate format for first exposure.

It works way better, with better answer flow (because there’s definitely a lot to unpack in this one), in a town hall format or public Q/A. Especially if both parties are talking of tax credits.

Debates and winners, what does it even mean? Kamala kicked Trumps but in their debate , and now tonight, the two best debaters between all four candidates face off, and Vance absolutely crushes Walz. But what will it mean? Probably not much.

Just because you can run over someone does not make you right, and just because you have no deep intellectual thoughts on your own (Trump) does not mean you can not win the election.

I have firmly made up my mind. tonight. (Not that the debate played much of a role)
