Walsh Jesuit played against Troy out of the Dayton area on Saturday afternoon in Canton. Shawn Sullivan had a very impressive pitching performance, striking out 11 batters on the day.
Saw where he received offers from Michigan State, Maryland and James Madison.Milan Parris ran a 4.43 40 last week at 6-5, 210.
This is the fastest time i’ve seen this year for OH players, second fastest is Kayden Edwards, a QB/ATH looking to step into his role as a starter this year, he ran a 4.49 with a laser.Milan Parris ran a 4.43 40 last week at 6-5, 210.
I wasn't there but if I were to take a guess this wasn’t laser timed. This is the fastest time i’ve seen this year for OH players, second fastest is Kayden Edwards, a QB/ATH looking to step into his role as a starter this year, he ran a 4.49 with a laser.
Laser or not, he’s obviously got speed. Look forward to seeing Walsh this year, super tough schedule.I wasn't there but if I were to take a guess this wasn’t laser timed.
It really is a challenging schedule, especially with TCC, Hoban, and Ursuline on the road.Laser or not, he’s obviously got speed. Look forward to seeing Walsh this year, super tough schedule.
He’s a dual threat QB. Not nearly as shifty or as fast as Moten but taller and bigger with pretty good speed. From the vids I saw, QB was throwing really well in practices, is he a runner too like Keller or more of a passer?
I’ll have to verify this with a deep dive and extensive research before any such accolades or counts, can be verified for comparison sake. He’s a dual threat QB. Not nearly as shifty or as fast as Moten but taller and bigger with pretty good speed.
Im calling around to see if I can dig up any flaws in the scouting report. Stay tuned.I’ll have to verify this with a deep dive and extensive research before any such accolades or counts, can be verified for comparison sake.
Trayon Williams ran a 4.36 and a 4.38 at Massillon's college showcase. This is the fastest time i’ve seen this year for OH players, second fastest is Kayden Edwards, a QB/ATH looking to step into his role as a starter this year, he ran a 4.49 with a laser.
Good luck! Not demeaning Walsh here at all - but you got one heck of a favorable draw. I think the top seeds were all trying to avoid having to face Sullivan until the final 4 or championship game. Whoever comes out of region 6 will certainly be battle tested.Walsh plays Valley Forge in their opening playoff game. Valley Forge is 3-16 and has lost their last 13 games. Almost half of them were by run rule.
My guess is they’ll start another pitcher for that game and save Sullivan for the next game 2 days later.
Walsh needs a favorable draw! It'll be interesting how far they go this year. Been up and down all year. They need to cut down on the errors and have a pitcher step up outside of Sullivan. Two solid pitchers can give you a deep playoff run.Good luck! Not demeaning Walsh here at all - but you got one heck of a favorable draw. Yep. Like Twinsburg last year. And maybe again this year.Walsh needs a favorable draw! It'll be interesting how far they go this year. Been up and down all year. They need to cut down on the errors and have a pitcher step up outside of Sullivan. Two solid pitchers can give you a deep playoff run.
No offense taken at all. The draw is very favorable but it only takes one bad inning to ruin a season.Good luck! Not demeaning Walsh here at all - but you got one heck of a favorable draw. Forgot to mention that Girls Lacrosse plays #1 seed Rocky River in the Regional Semifinals tomorrow.Softball won Districts on Saturday, their 4th District Title in a row. They’ve been dealing with injuries but have been winning ugly so far. Things get tougher on Wednesday when they play 19-5 North Ridgeville in the Regional Semifinals,
Baseball plays Valley Forge today. Shawn Sullivan (Alabama commit and #2 player in OH for ‘26) pitched a few innings on Saturday so my guess is that he won’t start today’s game.
Boys Lacrosse plays Toledo St Francis today at home in the Regional Semifinals.
Here's Sullivan's stats for the season: 5-1, 0.63 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, 44 innings, 6 R, 4 ER, 72 K, 25 BB, 21 hitsBaseball beats Perry 3-1 to win Districts and move to 17-7.
Shawn Sullivan (Alabama commit) was fantastic again for the win.
Here's his line: 6 innings, 1R, 0 ER, 10 K, 4 H, 2 BB
Anthony Alberty pitched a 1-2-3 7th for the save.
What are your thoughts in the region next week? Don't sleep on Hoover. If Sullivan doesn't pitch in that one, you could get upset. Hoover is a solid team. They will capitalize if your other starters aren't throwing strikes. Here's Sullivan's stats for the season: 5-1, 0.63 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, 44 innings, 6 R, 4 ER, 72 K, 25 BB, 21 hits
