The Grizzlies were fourth at the Division I state meet, second at the Austintown regional and champions of the North Canton district. Wadsworth overwhelmed Suburban League opponents with superior depth and had little trouble winning both the championship meet and the dual meet title.
Jake Hiltner, sporting his distinctive fohawk, was the leader of a powerful 22-member senior class and now runs for Ohio State.
