Updated and final schedule for the upcoming season:

*Games, venue, time, date all subject to change.

Coach: Jeff Rotsky (3rd season)
2022 Season: 8-3
Playoff Finish: L vs Tallmadge in 1st round
Region: D-3 R:9 (Subject to change based on CB)

2023 Schedule as of 8/6/23:

8/18: 7pm vs. John Hay - Weber Field (Gilmour)
8/25: 7pm @ Cardinal Mooney - Stambaugh Stadium (YSU)
9/2: 12pm vs. Youngstown East - Weber Field (Gilmour)
9/8: 7pm vs. Kenston - Korb Field (Brush)
9/15: 7pm @ Gilmour Academy - Weber Field
9/22: 8pm vs. Erie McDowell (PA) - Don Shula Stadium (JCU)
9/29: 7pm @ Bishop Hartley
10/6: 7pm @ Ursuline - Stambaugh Stadium (YSU)
10/13: 7pm @ St.Vincent-St.Mary
10/20 or 10/21: 7pm vs. Cleveland Central Catholic - Gutbrod Field (VASJ)

Thank you for the post. Pretty good schedule, just disappointed we aren't playing LC this year. Hope to see the Cougars back on the schedule in 24.

I'm confused, are you saying that Lake Catholic doesn't think they can compete with VASJ as long as Coach Rotsky is at the helm of the Viking Ship?

Quality opponents yes, big travel distance in cases. Local teams and natural rivals don’t want to play them now and not because they are good now. It’s a matter of how they suddenly became good again. Ask yourself why the Crown Conference tossed them after just one season.

And so it begins. What ineligible players do you have planned for this fall? Unfortunately you had to forfeit 3 basketball games two weeks ago because of an ineligible player playing. No surprise he played against Lake. Let me ask the Viking Faithful, since you reported this, what is VASJ‘s record?

You just can't stay away, can you? Still pounding the drum on the "ineligible" reserve player who averaged 3.1 points per game. If it makes you feel better, sure, he is the reason you guys lost to Joe's. There, feel better now?

Now back to you trolling this sight. You don't see any VASJ people over on the Lake Catholic football thread asking questions like "Why isn't Joe Jurevicius's jersey hanging in your gym anymore?" or "Has the Lacrosse team completed all of their antisemitism training for the upcoming season?". You know, things like that.

But here you are, trolling away. The way I see it, this is a football thread. You dropped us from your football schedule so why not stay away and worry about your business. I don't understand your infatuation with the Vikings?

Will Lake even field a competitive team this year ? Why should VASJ play a lower division team like them - there is no benefit. I'm sure they can find a better match up then the kitty cats on 306.

Alright, I will oblige you with a record. JOES record is 7 (SEVEN) STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS. This is why playing 3RC in BB has little meaning to us. You have ZERO history of tournament success. Go away before you get reported to the Yappi gestapo.
