UC Bearcats

Worst case scenario gets Satterfield fired but forces the program to start from the ground up again and there's a good chance Cunningham fumbles the hire again. Best case scenario gives Satterfield another year but may lock us into the cycle of being a middle-of-the-pack uninspiring program that Louisville was becoming before Satt got hired away.
Cunningham is the biggest problem.

Cunningham is the biggest problem.

In Cunningham's defense, Satterfield was not the pick they wanted. They had the plane in New Orleans to bring back and sign Willie Fritz but he decided to change his mind and stay at Tulane another year. Satterfield was just what they were left with in order to sign a coach before the portal opened. Judging by what's going on in Houston, it might have been the wrong choice either way.

My sources (bigger donors than me) are telling me Satterfield is coming back next year—regardless of the outcome this Saturday. This is simply because of finances, specifically the buyout.

I am disappointed as an alum and fan.

Totally agree. Cunningham should be Fired too? Can't let him choose Satterfield and the next guy! What say you?

Everybody in Bearcat World is hating on Cunningham, I don't know enough to have an opinion. I do know the IPF is gonna' be beyond state of the art, and the Cincy Reigns NIL deal seems to be picking up steam. Cunningham did hire Wes Miller to coach the basketball, which seems like a win.

I was on board when they hired Satterfield. I thought he was a much better option than the guy from Kent State, or Jesse Minter for P4 recruiting and recruiting Georgia and the Carolinas. I'm willing to give Satterfield another year before I jump ship. I will say if they come out and sleep walk against TCU Saturday night, my crew is out of there at halftime which we have never ever done before. I vote to keep Satterfield, but clean house on coordinators and position coaches.

Long time donors Larry and Rhonda Sheakley are the reason for the practice facility.

Maybe Nip at Night breaths life into this program on Saturday. Just sad to see how quickly it’s fallen from CFP year.

Would you bring back Fickell if Wisconsin drops the axe?
my feeling is a yr from now, that’s exactly what will happen. That or they go after Brian Hartline. Satterfield is a lame duck coach. It’s over for him, it’s just a matter of holding out one more yr for the reduced buyout

App State fires Shawn Clark today.
Could UC get an early Christmas gift, and App State take Satterfield off our hands? 🎅🏻
Satterfield isn’t going backwards. Would you lose out on 10s of millions of $ just to avoid being fired instead of resigning? The only real difference is the paperwork.

That’s why there was a Santa 🎅🏻 in my post.

One more year to deal with ‘Softerfield’ and UC can move on.
