Two Officials for JV Game

Full transparency, I love the game of football and think I would enjoy being around it in the officiating capacity. But I also know myself enough to know that until I get my temper under control, I should not put myself in situations like that.
I strongly encourage you to become an official. It will help you learn how to keep your temple under control.

So, schools can remove and ban disruptive fans.

Thought so.
I’m sorry your reading comprehension isn’t where it should be. It CLEARLY states the differential between class and sporting events and this conversation is about the latter….

It absolutely does not say school cannot remove and ban spectators.

I understand that you identify otherwise.

So which is it? It isn't working, or it is working phenomenally 85-90% of the time?
Again the overwhelming vast majority of officials do a great job. But there are definitely problems with officiating that should be remedied for the greater good of the game, but nobody wants to actually do that. One such example was the NFHS points of emphasis this year that are being ignored at seemingly every game. Why is that? Because there's absolutely no recourse and officials know it.

Your the typical liberal that doesn’t understand the rule of law, but tries to convince otherwise. TRUE.
"liberal" Plenty of people on Yappii have a different opinion of me.

While a school obviously has the right to exclude a person when there is a “clear and present danger of disruptions such as disorder, riot, obstruction of the event, or immediate threat to public safety” any other exclusions must be reasonable and viewpoint neutral.

Maybe you had trouble reading the whole thing.

You still talking about uncovered knees? We police that every game, and we don't see a lot of it.

No one is talking about a riot!lmao! You need to go back and read the whole thread. It was clearly stated that the exceptions such as terroristic threatening and hate speech…. Come on man…read the whole thread before you come out with your expertise…..

No, the court does not say that those are "exceptions."

Keep trying.

85-90% doing a phenominal job yet this point of emphasis is being overlooked at seemingly every game?

How can that be?

More "10 minutes to walk on the field" embellishment?

The law is not a factor and political parties do not come into play when an official stop play of the game and says "this game will not go on until that fan is removed". Typically the admins will ask the fan to leave and if they refuse if could go to a police call. Either way, it happens way to often.

Yep, and backplates uncovered and illegal formations. These are in every game. And are you removing kids from play as NFHS recommended or just telling them to cover up their knees?

Nope, it's just evident nobody cares because those are issues at every single highschool game.
This is true, I've seen bad calls at many high school games in my life but I don't think that fat guys are bad officials. I think bad officials are bad officials. But even so, I am glad a lot of times for the bad ones just so the kids can play their games. The shortage is increasing and the fan assessments from the stands are not helping the problem.

That is a lie.
It's not. Formations / illegal man downfield especially. In every single game.....the "off" receiver is even with the OT. Either the OT is in the backfield or the receiver is on the los. And if that receiver goes out for a pass and is not the last man on the los, it's illegal man downfield and it happens in quite literally every single game. It's not a judgement call either. You are either on the line or not, and off receivers should not be even with any OL.

Gotcha, so you are saying that nobody has been bothered enough to publicly evaluate you for help kids play games.
Nope. But clearly I struck a nerve here. Funny that this entire site criticizes coaches, players, ADs, schools, bands, parents, communities, and seemingly everyone else under the sun, but criticize officials and you all really come out of the woodwork to stick up for yourselves.

Again feel free. I'll be working concessions tomorrow night in NKY. On Saturday I'll be towing the marching band trailer to their competition and helping all day there for my one band kid. Then Sunday we have youth playoffs where ill be most of the day.

Never seen that formation issue at a game. You must attend pall the bad ones.
