Teays Valley Girls Dominates Logan with 53-32 Victory
Teays Valley Girls was in control the entire time on Friday versus Logan, never trailing in their 53-32 victory. Tessa Horsley scored 17 points to lead Teays Valley Girls.
Key First-Half Run:
Teays Valley Girls pulled away from Logan with a decisive 8-point run, extending their lead to 21-6. The Vikings' stingy defense held Logan to just 5 points in the second quarter, taking a commanding 28-11 lead into halftime. Although Logan showed signs of life in the third and fourth quarters, scoring 13 and 8 points respectively, Teays Valley's advantage proved insurmountable. The Vikings' 22-7 turnover advantage ultimately sealed the victory.

Teays Valley Girls coach Trevor Younkin praised his team's performance, saying, "Control the game. That was written on the board, and it was executed to a T. We have speed and athleticism, and we need to exploit it and take that to our advantage."
What’s next:
Looking ahead to their next game, Younkin acknowledged the challenge posed by Lancaster, saying, "Dusty (Miller) is a heck of a coach. We know that he will have them all prepared and ready to fight." Logan (3-10, 1-7 OCC Buckeye) will face Pickerington Central (10-3, 7-0) on Tuesday, and Teays Valley (5-9, 4-4) will host Lancaster (7-8, 2-5).
