What could go wrong? I completely get your point, but then from my point of view, I see global warming via human action as the exact same type of issue. We have given authority to those loud voices on the left who are convinced it is humans who are causing the warming, which has led to such planned restrictions as getting rid of the internal combustion engine not many years down the road. What could go wrong!

Bottom line is staying involved and alert in both cases, as the damage by instituting such policy may be very detrimental to human prosperity.

None of my boys would "sink the pink" raw dog, after being introduced to "The Nurses' Pocket Guide to Sexually Transmitted Diseases" (with pictures of diseased deeks) so none of my boys will be re-introducing HPV into our herd. One boy needed a "chicken pox party" to catch his "inoculation".

Polio and measles vax, etc, sure. Absolutely, over here. Honest risk/reward matters.

I don't believe he is. He hasn't committed genocide against any members of society. Interesting you picked those two though. Based on our previous interactions, I imagine you can't even pronounce all of the names listed, let alone know who they are or what they did.
