Just an FYI, the Wooster Fall Open is Sunday, Oct. 24th at the spacious Wayne County Fairgrounds event center. Register for this event now to secure your spot, or just check out an entry form at www.ohioquest.com for more information. Please note that registration for this event closes on Friday, October 22nd at 10:00 p.m.

Tournaments at the Wayne County Fairgrounds have developed a well-deserved reputation both for great competition (regularly drawing over 400 wrestlers last season) and an amazing facility (can accommodate seven full size mats). This is THE must-attend event of the fall.

OhioQuest will be continuing the lightning-fast tournament format that was rolled out last season. Rather than the all-day affairs that wrestling is unfortunately infamous for, we will be running four or five mini-sessions of approximately 90 minutes each. Respecting the time of the wrestling community will remain our #1 priority, with getting as much mat time as possible for your wrestlers being a close second. We have now expanded our tournament format to offer extra exhibition matches wherever it makes sense.

Just as a reference, here is the current schedule of OhioQuest Tournaments through December:

October 17th- The Boardman Kickoff Classic

October 24th- The Wooster Fall Open

November 7th- The Rootstown Fall Open

December 5th- The Dillon Lanthorn Youth Open at Centerburg.

December 11th- The Canton South Open

December 12th- The Greenville (PA) Youth Open.

December 18th- The Barberton Battle for the Belt

December 19th- The Worthington Kilbourne Youth Open (tentative date).

Registration for all of the above events is now open, and entry forms can be found on the homepage at www.ohioquest.com.

Keep a close eye on the website for more events going up.

See you on Sunday, October 24th!
