Just a heads up, the OhioQuest “Odd Year” State Tournament is this Saturday (March 20th)! Go to www.ohioquest.com now to register for this event. By definition, half of the youth wrestlers spend their entire season with the age disadvantage. The current groupings of ages are completely arbitrary and could just as easily be the reverse of what they are. This state championship event gives wrestlers who have been in the young year of their age group (or the “down year” as some call it), the opportunity to compete with the age advantage instead!
The OhioQuest Odd Age State Championships will be held in the very impressive Wayne County Fairgrounds Event Center. This tournament has divisions starting as young as 4-5 year olds, through a division for 14-15 year olds.
