Not a promised project yet, but I've begun putting together an outline of a book project to focus on this subject. I'm doing a test run through a couple of athlete profiles I have in mind, with deep dives into an athlete's athletic record in as much as can be found. My current subject profile is all-time Columbus North great, Carl Clement "Clemmy" Cooke, a multiple state champion during the 1908-09 years, and a participant in the 1912 Stockholm Olympics in both the 200m and the 4x100m relay. From the little digging I've done so far, I've already compiled better stats on Cooke's athletic record that are avaible on Olympedia and other sites. Part of this book project will have deep dives into selected athletes who were dominate in their events in a given decade.
Anyway, here's Mr. Cooke from OATCCC's website.
