Looking forward to a great day of competition in remembrance of a great individual.
Mason - who the tournament is named for - was a member of the High School Wrestling team, and tragically passed away in a car accident in January of 2018 while on his way to support his teammates at a tournament.
I did not know Mason personally, but it takes very little time being around those who did to learn what a tremendous person he was. He is often spoken of around the program.
Top to bottom we are excited about the field, and there are a few weights in particular that run very deep!
