Teays Valley Dominates Franklin Heights 72-37

The Teays Valley Lady Vikings put on a show Wednesday night, dominating the Franklin Heights Falcons 72-37. Cooper McManaway and Tessa Horsley led the charge, combining for 26 points and 12 rebounds.

The Lady Vikings got off to a hot start, going on a 17-point run to take a 39-17 lead at halftime. Teays Valley's offense was clicking, shooting 9-15 in the first half. The team's dominance continued in the second half, with the Lady Vikings outscoring Franklin Heights 49-32.

The Lady Vikings' scoring was led by Cooper McManaway with 14 points, followed by Tessa Horsley, who recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Avery Mann added 10 points, while Areyana Karshner and Cami Robins chipped in with 9 and 8 points, respectively. Teays Valley will advance to the sectional final and they will face off against 3rd-seeded Worthington Kilbourne on Monday, February 17 at 7 PM.
